- We are a running club based at the North Solihull Sports Centre track, Chelmsley Wood, near Birmingham. We take part in road running and cross country competitions, including the Birmingham Cross Country League and Warwickshire Road Running League.

- Founded during the running boom, when we formed as a breakaway social road-running club from the more earnest and track-oriented Cardiff AAC, we have grown over the past 20 years into one of the largest running clubs in South Wales. - Metro Aberdeen Running Club
- Metro Aberdeen were founded 15 years ago by members of Aberdeen Athletics Club who thought that a club dedicated to Road Running would benefit the participants of that particular branch of running. And so Metro Aberdeen Road Running Club was born. At the moment we have around 90 members male and female. Our female section is growing and hopefully will get stronger. No one need feel intimidated, all are welcome. Help is at hand in the coaching side also. We have 2 SAL registered coaches

- Preston Harriers Fell Runners
- Some of our fell runners also do cross country and road running, but fell running is our main activity. Our junior fell runners are in a keen fell running section. Preston Harriers running club was established in 1881. Mick McLoughlin our chairman of fellblog did the Bob Graham Round in June 2005. Fell Runners are not as much bothered about PB's as they are about 3B's (a local brewery). Winter Tuesday night training (see website) - bring good head or hand torch!
